Find out what recruitment agencies know about you today

Pick from our list of recruitment agencies and easily send them access requests, for free.

Bothered by recruiters too often or not sure what they have on file?

We've all been there. You're looking for a job and in a frenzy sign up to lots of recruitment agencies, manage to find one that you like, only to be continually contacted by them and others.

When we sign up with recruiters, we often upload a lot of personal information. Some of this now may be out of date or you maybe you simply don't want them to hold it any longer. Either way, through Rightly you can easily ask multiple agencies at once what they know about you. If you then want to change that, you can send them a deletion request for free.

Personal data that recruitment agencies typically store:

  • Name and address
  • Contact details
  • Your CV
  • Cookies & IP address
  • Economic, social and cultural information

What's that?

Personal data is any information that can directly or indirectly identify you as you. Think address, beliefs, and financial records.

How do I find out what recruitment agencies know about me?

The easiest way to find out what information they have is by sending a request through Rightly. Just pick from our list of recruitment agencies or search for the ones you have in mind and send an access request.

If you can't find the ones that you're looking for, please contact our customer support team - they'd be happy to help!

How long until a recruitment agency responds to my request?

After the company has received your request, they have to reply in full within 30 days, or give a valid reason for asking for an extension. If this happens, our support team is here to help!

What if they refuse to tell me what personal data they have on their records?

Don't worry, they have to show you what they have and how they're using it by law: this is thanks to your ‘right of access’ under GDPR law. GDPR applies in the UK and EU.

Whether you want to find out what a social media company, your local council or even a supermarket knows about you, you can. It’s yours after all.

What if I’m not sure if they have my data?

You can still ask them. If they don’t have it, they have to let you know.

Why Rightly?

We’re free because our mission is to make data fairer, for everyone.

We don't use consumer data for commercial purposes, which means we'll never, ever sell your data. It also means that there are no adverts or hidden costs.
